This date in area sports history: Feb. 21

1994: Christine Filakosky scores 16 points and pulls down eight rebounds, and Newbury goes on an 18-6 run  to close the game and defeat Hawken, 46-35, in a Division IV Richmond Heights sectional semifinal.
