This day in area sports history: Feb. 1

1990: Beth Koch’s 12 points and 15 rebounds are team highs for Perry in a 48-39 girls basketball win over Ledgemont, and Lissa Latina has 27 points, 13 steals, 11 rebounds and six assists in Richmond Heights’ 71-34 win over Independence.
