This day in area sports history: Sept. 25
1937: Harry Mattos’ 4-yard touchdown run in the opening quarter did not hold up for the Cleveland Rams as Dick Crayne’s field goal with three minutes left gives the Brooklyn Dodgers a 9-7 victory.
